Ages 5-10   Max 8 people Wednesday 18 and 25 September 2024  Time 1.30 - 4.30 Fairy & Superhero Academy Empowering girls and boys workshops Ages 5-10 - Max 8 people Wednesday 18 and 25 September 2024 Time 1.30 - 4.30 $40 per person These workshops use a combination of storytelling, painting analysis, artmaking, art psychotherapy, and journaling to help the child understand how our mind works and how to control it, just like a superpower. The child is helped to develop empathy, because empathy is not an emotion it’s a skill, and with that skill children can give a contribution towards helping others, helping the planet and themselves. Creativity is what is going to help them navigate life and become great leaders for others and for themselves. Art therapy taps into the subconscious which helps the child to interpret, express and manage emotions. This blended workshop does not require any artistic skill, just creativity and imagination. We don’t want children to lose their ability to imagine and be creative as they will have lost a precious tool that will help them later in life to creatively deliver solutions for us all.
