Service Description

I’m a qualified Art Psychotherapist with a passion for working with children and empowering adults. Using storytelling, painting, and art psychotherapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and creative art-making, I help clients understand how their minds work and process emotions. I have a special interest in childhood trauma, which, if left unaddressed, can persist into adulthood and affect relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. I’m also an author of adult novels and children’s books. My Fairy series explores topics like body image, self-esteem, and managing fear, while my bedtime series encourages peaceful sleep. Through my stories, children connect with characters, relate to their feelings, and discover ways to feel better alongside them. My academic background spans Community & Social Services, Art Psychotherapy, Education, and Training & Assessment, while my professional experience includes HR, Training & Development, and mentoring youth in their career goals. Whether your teen feels stuck or your young child struggles with emotions, a one-on-one session can provide valuable support. Art therapy taps into the subconscious, allowing children to interpret, express, and manage emotions in a safe and creative space. No artistic skills are required—just imagination and willingness to explore. I believe in nurturing creativity and imagination at every age. These skills are vital life tools, helping children and adults alike to problem-solve, innovate, and approach challenges with confidence.
